Product Owner Regulatory Information Management (SaaS) (m/f/d)

Your task as a Product Owner includes the technical development of our existing products as well as the development of new products. You work closely with your strategic product management colleagues and you are the main contact for product management within the development team. As a Product Owner & Technical Product Manager, you develop the product requirements from the market participants' interviews and market issues, which you will receive from your strategic product management colleagues. You are responsible for evaluating and prioritizing the requirements in the marketplace and defining work packages so that the product meets the requirements of the relevant market segments. Your ultimate goal as a Product Owner is the profitability of the product in terms of product development: You act as an evangelist for your product or solution, internally as well as externally.

Your Tasks - as important as our Software:

  • Value maximization of the software product
  • Creating product requirements and user scenarios using information from interviews of market participants
  • Decide about the product content, i.e. defining and prioritization of requirements and approval of according implementation
  • You have to set sprint goals and make sure that requirements and user scenarios are understood
  • Make sure that requirements and user scenarios are understood by the development team 
  • Regular status comparison with the technical product team during the development process
  • You and the entire technical product team are responsible for ensuring that quality and functionality are appropriate for the defined target groups and are responsible for the final release before a release
  • Regular status reports to strategic product management, stakeholders and senior management
  • Definition of suitable KPIs, their limits, as well as the planning of measures when the limits are exceeded or not reached. You are constantly optimizing the limits to make sure they result in a more effective product development and increase product profitability
  • You motivate the technical product team to jointly develop 100% marketable solutions

Your Profile - as good as our Solutions:

  • Sound knowledge of Regulatory Information Management, Submission Management or Publishing Services in the pharmaceutical industry
  • A degree in Economics or a technical education with additional business training 
  • At least 3 years of experience in the field of software development, SaaS-technology, marketing or product management. Experience with Scrum is a plus 
  • Customer focused
  • Strong communication skills across all stakeholders (internally and externally)
  • Team player with good social and problem-solving skills 
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
  • Strong analytic and coordinating skills 
  • Ability to look beyond the box
  • Ability to work independently and self-organized, goal-oriented
You are used to working independently, your suitcases are packed and you have already worked in the life science area, especially Regulatory Affairs, or IT environment. You are initiative, goal orientated and assertive and have joy in business development.
