Service Desk Support Specialist (m/f/d)

Your Tasks - as important as our Software:

  • answer and process support requests regarding our EXTEDO software products
  • troubleshoot issues by searching our knowledge base, researching on your own, or consulting with the team
  • always respond to customers in a positive and friendly manner, even under stressful circumstances
  • provide detailed descriptions of bugs and enhancement requests to the development team
  • communicate and document issue status on a regular basis (internally and externally)
  • expand our Knowledge Base
  • process orders and license requests and inform customers about new product versions
  • contribute and implement your ideas for process improvement
  • get to know a wide range of EXTEDO applications and the underlying technology
  • other special projects as needed

Your Profile - as good as our Solutions:

  • like to help customers
  • have completed vocational training, preferably focused on computer science (e.g., “Fachinformatiker”) or similar relevant qualification
  • are fluent in both German and English
  • have a strong comfort level with computers and software in general - experience in software technical support would be a plus
  • have excellent problem-solving skills
  • have effective organizational and prioritization skills
  • are a team player
  • remain calm, even in difficult situations
  • like to bring in new ideas and enjoy learning something new every day

Preferred but not required:

  • experience with programming/scripting language or SQL
  • experience with eCTD and/or in the pharmaceutical industry
