Application Support Specialist

Do you like solving problems and helping people? How about contributing ideas and learning something new every day? Then consider working full time as an Application Support Specialist for EXTEDO, located near King of Prussia. Be part of a team comprised of talented individuals with a wide variety of backgrounds and ideas.  
 

Your Tasks - as important as our Software:

  • Troubleshoot 1st-level and 2nd-level issues involving proprietary software products for our customers and employees
  • Always respond to customers in a positive and friendly manner, even under stressful circumstances
  • Provide detailed descriptions of bugs and feature requests to the Development team
  • Communicate and document issue status on a regular basis (internally and externally)
  • Execute validation/test scripts, conforming to FDA standards
  • Perform installations and upgrades of our software
  • Maintain status updates and follow procedures in our CRM system
  • Other tasks as needed

Your Profile - as good as our Solutions:

  • Associate’s Degree
  • Experience with Windows and internet browsers
  • Strong comfort level with computers and software in general
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Effective organizational and prioritization skills
  • Customer focus – great people skills
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred but not required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience with eCTD and FDA 21 CFR Part 11
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience in software technical support
